Lakh Bahosi Sanctuary

Lakh Bahosi Sanctuary is located near Lakhbasohi village in Kannauj District of Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1989 it is one of largest bird sanctuaries in India spread in areas of 80 sq. km. The sanctuary is a famous spot for the birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Apart from a variety of local and migratory birds, the sanctuary is also a home to Jackal, blue bull, mongoose, fishing cat, monkeys and other animals.
